THIS SYSTEM OF EATING IS LIFE! I have been doing this for the last year, and it is the easiest way for me to keep track of my food and make sure I am getting enough of the types of food I need. I don't count calories. I don't say NO to any types of food. I have FINALLY learned portion control and how to eat for health and not for emotions or out of boredom.
After most of my adult life not eating well at all then followed by almost 2 years of being super strict with food, spending HOURS prepping meals, and never eating grains, dairy, or alcohol, I have finally found a happy middle.
And it doesn't take me hours and hours to prep for.
